G&L USA Invader Series 6 String Alder Top Electric Guitar - Hard Rock Maple Fretboard
G&L made the INVADER from 1984 until around 1991. The Invader was then reissued with a different body design later in the 1990s. This original G&L Invader was an ash, poplar or maple bodied superstrat. It was like the G&L Rampage but with HSS pickups, single volume and tone controls and three pickup selector mini switches. The G&L Invader typically had a Kahler tremolo bridge (the 1990 catalog states G&L or Leo Fender vibrato with fine tuners) and locking nut. The 22 fret bolt-on neck was available with rosewood or maple (or possibly ebony) fingerboard and came with a choice of 7.5", 12" or 25" fingerboard radius.
